Themed ‘survey walls’ allow our partners to engage with attendees, who are able to easily share their opinions on specific topics. This is a contractural benefit only.
Content survey walls:
Provide visual evidence of direct engagement with your brand.
Offer attendees an appealing and tactile way of engaging with critical tech topics.
Generate data on topics relevant to your business or industry. These statistics can be used in related content, extending the survey wall’s usefulness and influence.
Position your business as a thought leader.
You can have a strategic say in where your walls are placed on the event floor to maximize potential engagement with your desired audience. For example, if you want to create a survey wall focused on TikTok, the wall could be positioned near the PandaConf stage, where it will be seen by people interested in marketing and social media.
Step one: Choose a theme. Past ideas include perceptions of sustainability efforts and the importance of social entrepreneurship. You must also choose a wall location on the Web Summit event floor from a list of options.
Step two: Select content for the survey wall. There are two options:
A. Web Summit curates a number of questions for you to review. You choose your top three. Your partner success manager will liaise with you and the editorial team to agree on the format of the questions (content needs to follow a specific editorial structure as the wall is interactive).
B. You provide six questions for review by the editorial team. We then choose the most suitable three after liaising with you and your partner success manager.
Step three: The Collision production team designs the survey wall.
The front will feature your chosen questions alongside Collision’s brand colours. The back is up to you to design. We will give you a template, incorporating your company logo, for you to work from. Please ensure you share your company logo in vector format for us to use.
You have the opportunity to design the back wall back using this template here. The design can feature your brand colours, imagery or anything else you’d like to share. The deadline to submit your content survey wall form is May 19.
Step four: During Collision, the editorial team will interview a member of your team at the survey wall for a short video. Questions will be focused on the survey wall results and engagement during the event.
A call to action of your choice, displayed on the back of the wall.
Editorial and editing support.
A video interview with a select member of your team based on the survey wall questions, to take place on the floor during the event.
A blog collating your survey wall data, published on the website in the weeks after the event, including the video interview.
Blog promotion to Collision social media audiences.

We worked with Entrepreneurs Organization to create a content survey wall focused on questions of socially responsible entrepreneurship, and the motivations for business people to use their skills to solve global crises. The wall generated significant attendee engagement. During the event, we interviewed Ahmed Habib, a member of Entrepreneurs’ Organization, to discuss this feedback and other strategic messaging. Finally, after Web Summit, we collated the results from the survey wall and wrote a blog report discussing this data. We embedded the video interview in the blog.
