Community drinks
Some of our best networking happens away from the conference floor – at Collision After Hours, a series of parties and receptions for Collision attendees in Toronto's most exciting events venues.
Partnering with Collision After Hours places your brand right at the centre of these parties. It gives you the chance to continue conversations from the conference floor and engage with attendees in a more relaxed, informal setting.
Venue:
You’ll have full ownership of the venue selection for your community drinks party. Please let your Partner Success Manager know once you have selected the venue so that Collision’s production team can approve it.
Should you be interested, below are some venue suggestions from our Collision After Hours team.
Please ensure the venue capacity is suitable for the targeted audience. Please discuss the capacity with your Partner Success Manager in advance of confirming a venue.
The venue must be confirmed by June 2nd.
Bar tab:
We would highly recommend a bar tab to enhance the attendee event experience – this can be arranged directly with the chosen party venue.
Guestlist management:
Guestlist management on the night of the party will be managed by your team. This can be discussed with your Partner Success Manager.
When managing the guestlist, you should create your own event landing page. This will allow you to manage the number of signups and collect leads.
Please note we recommend adding a cap to the number of attendees that can RSVP to your event in order to avoid disappointment.
We advise mentioning on the landing page that the event will be first come first serve to encourage attendees to arrive early to the party.
Please consider how you will stay GDPR-compliant in your planning. Your Partner Success Manager will be happy to help in this area where possible.
The Collision team will send a branded invitation with the link to your landing page to the target audience.
Your Partner Success Manager can provide the contact details for the venues featured above.
Welcome address:
This is at your discretion and can be managed with the venue directly. We advise keeping any welcome short, and making sure it’s suitable for an informal setting.
Guestlist management:
The guestlist at the door of the venue will be managed by you. Please consider GDPR in your planning.
Ticket package:
Please ensure that anyone who you would like to attend your community drinks party is assigned a Collision ticket. The deadline to finalise the information on all your allocated tickets is June 23.
To further promote your night event, consider running a competition or social media giveaway. This creates a fun atmosphere for attendees, while also providing strategic value for the partner.
In order to manage attendance for the Night event you will need to create a landing page. Please consider the information you would like to capture and ensure the landing page is GDPR compliant.
To make the most of your night event, ensure your staff is well briefed on your objectives and your target audience.
We suggest bringing a strong networking team with you to engage with the attendees, but be mindful that each venue has a capacity limit.
To create a night attendees will remember, think big when planning your activation and allow the budget, staffing, and creativity to realise your vision.
A free drink or bar tab is always greatly appreciated by attendees!
