Hotels

Lisbon is filled with a lot of excellent hotels, we have partnered with bnetwork in order to help you find what you are looking for. You can search for hotels near the Altice arena here.

Registration

If you are in Lisbon before the event begins, we recommend that you pre-register. Attendees can pre-register at two locations:

  • Lisbon Airport: Terminal 1 from Saturday October 29

  • Adjacent to the venue: Pavilhão de Portugal, Alameda dos Oceanos, Parque das Nações, 1990-221 Lisboa, Portugal. Venue registration is open from Monday October 31 to Friday November 4.

If you can’t pre-register, no need to worry, just arrive at the venue on the morning of Wednesday, November 2 for the first day of the exhibition.

To register, you will need to download the official Web Summit app, which will launch in the weeks before the event. Once logged into the app you can find your QR code. This QR code along with your photo ID will be required to register and collect your accreditation. Attendees must collect their own accreditation. Please make sure all your ticket details are complete before registering at the venue.

Visas

If you’re travelling from outside the EU, please be sure to check if you need a visa to enter. If you require a visa, we recommend applying as soon as you have secured your Web Summit ticket. Keep in mind that this process will take some time. Remember that we are unable to refund any tickets on the basis of failure to secure a visa.

We do not liaise with the government of any country to provide visas. However, we are happy to provide a letter confirming you are attending Web Summit.

Letter of attendance

If needed, we can provide each team member with a letter confirming your attendance to supplement your visa application. To do this, please log into your attendee profile here. You will need your unique ticket reference, which can be found in your ticket package. Your ticket reference is in the format ABCD-STR.

After you sign into your attendee profile, you can click on your profile picture in the top right corner. From here, you will see a drop-down menu with the link “Request confirmation letter.” You will be prompted to fill in your information and our system will verify this after you submit.

***Please ensure all information is correct, as you can only apply once.***

After you fill in your information, you will instantly receive your invitation letter as a PDF to the email associated with your ticket.

If a member of your team needs a letter of attendance, please have them sign into their attendee profile from the provided link above and follow the same instructions.
