CEREBRAL PALSY (CP) : A permanent disorder of movement, muscle tone or posture. This is due to abnormal brain development often before birth.

PHYSICALLY DISABLED (PD) : This includes medical or physical conditions that hinder successful placement in a mainstream setting. E.g muscular dystrophy, Spina Bifida, Arthritis , complicated respiratory or medical conditions.

Learners who are PHYSICALLY DISABLED or with CEREBRAL PALSEY offer the (CAPS) Curriculum Assessment Policy Statements. Two (2) other formats of the CAPS curriculum are also available.
