Course Description: ASL I is an introduction to American Sign Language. ASL I is only offered alternating years.
Course Content: ASL I focuses on communication, cultures, connections, comparisons, and communities. Students will learn about communication in ASL, gain knowledge and understanding of deaf culture, use ASL to connect with other disciplines and acquire information, develop insight into the nature of language and culture, and use ASL to participate in communities at home and around the world.

Course Description: The purpose of this course is to strengthen and expand the proficiency in Spanish of heritage learners and advanced non-native speakers.
