Course Description: Lifetime Wellness is a holistic approach to health and lifetime physical activities in Tennessee high schools. This approach to total wellness encompasses the physical, mental, social, and personal needs of the individual.
Course Content: Lifetime Wellness content includes disease prevention and control, nutrition, substance use and abuse, mental/emotional/social health, sexuality and family life, safety and first aid, and personal fitness. Each content area is addressed in a classroom and/or physical activity setting. Personal fitness and nutrition are emphasized and integrated throughout the course.

Course Description: This course is a daily physical activity course often paired with Driver's Education where students will learn and participate in a variety of physical activities addressing the five components of fitness (muscular strength, muscular endurance, cardiovascular endurance, flexibility, and body composition). This course is paired with Drivers' Education.
Course Content: Students will participate in daily physical activity where they will work toward the mastery of state standards in five key areas: Motor Skills, Cognitive Components, Fitness and Physical Activity, Personal and Social Responsibility, and Values Physical Activity. Students will complete daily warm-ups and physical activities as designed by the physical education teacher.
This course should promote physical activities and health related topics to enhance the student's overall health not only during this class but rather influence their attitude and understanding of good health for a lifetime. Sporting activities are structured to include individual and dual sports as well as team oriented games and activities. The key concept is geared to provide activities for all students that motivates a lifelong awareness of overall good health
