Would you like to experience the job or jobs you are considering for your future?

Then a Gateway work placement may be right for you.

• The Gateway Programme is very adaptable and students can choose to attend the work placement for a few weeks, a term, or even during the school holidays.

• You do not have to be in a Pathways class to complete a Gateway work placement, you just need to see Mrs Hall or Mr Davidson to have a chat, and work out the best option

• Generally, students attend their work placement for one day per week for an agreed amount of time to ‘trial’ their career choice

• Students likely to benefit the most are those interested in a particular career or industry, or those students who wish to collect a wider range of skills than can be provided at school

• You can significantly enhance the probability of gaining employment when you leave College buy completing Gateway work experience
