The Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT) is a standardized test that only juniors can take in the fall. Structured similarly to the SAT, it has the same sections and timing, and measures the same Reading and Writing and Math skills learned in the classroom.
By taking the PSAT/NMSQT as a junior, students may meet the requirements to enter the National Merit Scholarship Program, an academic competition for recognition and scholarships.
The PSAT/NMSQT will be offered digitally.
