ACT
WHAT IS THE ACT?
The American College Test (ACT) is a college entrance exam that students can take in addition to the SAT. Students must register to take the ACT on their own at one of the provided test center locations.
HOW TO REGISTER FOR THE ACT
Students may register online for the ACT at www.act.org. The test fee for the ACT is $66.00 and with the essay portion, which is optional, is $91.00. Late registration fee is an additional $36.00.
Fee waivers are available for students on free/reduced lunch. Fee waivers may be picked up from your counselor.

Nervous for the test? This test day informational page can help ease your mind! It lets you know what items you can and cannot bring, what you need to look for upon your arrival at the test center and what you can expect during the day.
Bring a calculator with you to the test! The testing center will not provide calculators for you.
