Dual Enrollment allows eligible students to enroll in college courses while attending high school. WHS will pay tuition up to the allowable state funding.
Students are invited to a Dual Enrollment informational meeting during 2nd hour.
Deadline is advertised in daily WHS news.
Dual Enrollment informational packets are available in the Guidance Office for any students that missed the meeting, as well as below. Students may print from home and submit to counselor via email, if absolutely necessary, to meet the deadline.
Packets must be completed (including parent signatures) by the deadline in order to be eligible to dual enroll for the upcoming semester.
Student should not complete the college application until they have met with their counselor and been approved to dual enroll.
The deadline for FALL dual enrollment is Thursday, March 13th. Deadlines must be met in order to be eligible for the upcoming semester. Student absence is not a reason for exception. The deadline is the last day the packet can be turned in; not the only day.
Dual enrollment is a great opportunity to save time and money, however, it does have to fit into the student's life. Consider commitments outside of school (athletics, work schedules, living situation, transportation, and out of pocket expenses).
