Course Overview

The Bronze Arts Award enables students to develop their existing arts practice and arts leadership skills, underpinned by knowledge of their own art form and its relationship to arts provision in the community. There is no prerequisite ability or level and students may and may focus on a discipline from Art, Music, Dance, Drama or elsewhere. They demonstrate their artistic imagination in their own art form and the ability to implement appropriate responses to challenges.

This is a decision which should be made dependent upon each student. Some students have successfully managed the demands of two programmes, please take into account the demands on a student's time in relation to outside of school activities and sporting commitments. This programme can effectively support a student's  participation in the Oxbridge programme and will also complement after school rehearsal commitments if students' are going to be in the school production/concerts throughout the year.
