Twilight Curriculum 2026

Introduction to the Twilight Curriculum

Students entering Years 9 & 10 in September 2026 are invited to apply to one of our programmes that are offered as part of the Twilight Curriculum. The Twilight Curriculum consists of both academic and non academic qualifications that are available for students to undertake in addition to their regular studies. Upon successful completion of programmes, students receive formal accreditation (with the exception of the 'Inspire Scholars' programme which is in essence a mentorship guiding students to expand and explore academic topics). Students must apply to take part in this aspect of our curriculum. 

Our launch event for our next cohort was held on Tuesday 14th  July. The slides used at this presentation are available here. I would urge any students and parents who were unable to attend to please ensure that students review the subject information and read the 'how to apply' section carefully before submitting their application form. 

Twilight Curriculum 2026 Course information

Students will need to submit applications outlining why they wish to pursue the accreditation and why they believe they will be suitable. Places in most programmes are strictly limited. Students who do not submit applications on time cannot be guaranteed a space.

Twilight Curriculum 2027

The Twilight Curriculum Launch for 2027 will be held in the latter part of Summer term 2026 (usually early July). The programmes on offer will be released at a launch event which students, parents and carers are encouraged to attend. Students will then be able to apply following the event. 

Communications about this event/programme take place via: 

• Newsletter

• Letters to parents/carers

• Student zone weekly notices

Information contained at present will provide an insight into the types of programmes and the application process for students entering Years 8 & 9 for September 2026 only. This section of the website is updated annually in the latter part of the summer term.
