Organization (or·gan·ize) - to sort, arrange, order, group, or categorize items in a specific way.
At WHS students are expected to keep their classes organized. This includes but is not limited to, having physical folders and notebooks for each class, creating folders in Google Drive for each class, labeling each doc with an appropriate name and placing each doc in an assigned folder, using a calendar or planner.
Why is this important?
Organization is important because it allows people to be productive, saves time, and makes goals clear and attainable. Organization also assists people in doing tasks more quickly and makes finding important information and materials a simple endeavor.
When will you need to utilize this skill?
In school, you will need to keep your physical materials, like notebooks and folders, in order and you will need to keep your Google Drive neatly maintained. Outside of school, you will need to keep your workspaces and materials organized so that you do not lose important information, misplace critical documents, or waste time trying to locate materials.
