Engagement (en·gage·ment) - Engagement refers to the degree of attention, curiosity, interest, optimism, and passion that students show when they are learning or being taught.
At WHS students are expected to engage in class discussions and participate during class. Engagement helps students better understand material being taught and keeps them on task.

Teachers are mindful of creating lessons and learning experiences for students that are meaningful, interesting, and applicable inside and outside of the classroom. Asking questions about content, assignments, or expectations is encouraged and celebrated so students have the best opportunities to be engaged and to learn.
