Rationale: This will be a hand timed meet, since there in not an abundance of F.A.T. timing

available.  Also it is early in the season and many teams are more concerned about

getting an event in rather than chasing a qualifying time.  The early season small

invites also have become a thing of the past and we are being nostalgic. 

We are changing the relays up this year.  Teams still have a month chase qualifying times.         These relays will allow school to chase records for relays that have disappeared from 

invites.

Last year's meet was completed in 5 hours (1st gun to last finisher)

Meet Size: We would like to limit this meet to 12 teams of each gender plus VVS.

Apparel: There will be merchandise available to purchase.

Awards: Ribbons to the first six finishers in each event including relays. 

No team scoring

Entries: All entries will be done online via www.nymilesplit.com. 

Entry deadline is Thursday, April 18th at 10:00 PM. 

Scratches only day of meet.

Athletes may compete in 3 events. 

Only 1 relay team per event. 

3 entries per school for individual events.  

Timing/Scoring: We will be hand timing and scoring this meet.

We need an adult volunteer from each participating school to help run the meet.

8 timers will be needed to work with the 8 VVS timers (Double timing each place)

Plus extra help with field events.  (Like indoor track)

Officials: We will hire as many officials as the budget allows

Fees: $225 per school (both genders)

$150 for a single gender

Individual will be charged a team price

We apologize for the price.  9 officials alone are $1600 and we are trying to keep the meet

small.
