Monday, December 15th, will be designated as a district-wide cold weather day.
Below are the guidelines:
1. Uniforms may be worn.
2. Appropriate bottoms such as jeans or sweatpants may be worn. NO LEGGINGS.
3. If you choose to wear shorts in the colder weather, they must be uniform shorts.
4. Coats, sweatshirts and jackets of any type may be worn. They may not have any inappropriate writing or graphics on them.
We are more concerned with students keeping warm at bus stops, bus rides and in between classes that are located in portable buildings.
This is a district-wide policy that was implemented last year. A cold weather day called by the district is for ALL schools.

🌟 Shining Stars Celebrations! 🌟
We’re thrilled to launch a new event at Cecil Picard to honor our Star Students each month who consistently demonstrate integrity, resilience, respect, and responsibility. Join us in celebrating their hard work and positive impact! Please note, this once a month celebration will be replacing our STAR student breakfast. The next STAR student celebration is December 18th at 8:15AM.
Attendance Matters—Every Day & On Time!
Being at school and on time each day helps our Jr. Patriots start strong and stay on track with their learning. Morning routines and first lessons set the tone for the day, and every minute counts. We understand that sometimes children may be too sick to attend, and we want them to stay home to rest and recover when that happens. Otherwise, we encourage all students to be present and ready to learn each day. Thank you for helping your child build strong habits and make the most of every school day!
Our Cecil Picard Elementary students had an amazing time celebrating our achievement of being an A school! To mark this special honor, all students enjoyed an extra recess and a sweet treat with snow cones from Kona Ice. Smiles, laughter, and school pride filled the day as we celebrated the hard work of our students, staff, and families. What a fun and well-deserved celebration for our Patriots!
Mrs. Jennifer has several students who are reaching all the AR milestones! 20 points- 40 points and more!
One of Mrs. Jennifer’s students is now over 100 points! Way to go Nash!
The Grinch visited CPE on Thursday!
We loved having Mrs. Emily visit Mrs. Allyson's class for a special lesson on self-control! Students were engaged, thoughtful, and eager to learn strategies for making good choices, managing emotions, and showing respect to others. Lessons like these help build strong character and support a positive classroom community. Thank you, Mrs. Emily, for sharing your time and making such a meaningful impact on our students!
