We’re so excited to welcome all our students back for another amazing year at Cecil Picard Elementary! 🎉 Thank you to all the parents and guardians who joined us for Meet & Greet — your support means the world!
First Day of School:
📚 Grades 1–5 & Kindergarten boys start on Friday, August 8th, and we can’t wait to see everyone ready for a new year of learning!
School Supplies:
If you missed Meet & Greet, no worries! Just send what your child can comfortably carry on the first day. It’s okay if supplies come over a few days. You can also drop them off in the lobby through August 7th — just label the bag with your child’s name, grade, and teacher.
Morning Drop-Off Reminder:
Parents will not be allowed to walk students to class. Our team will be there to help every child get to their classroom safely. Thank you for helping us keep things smooth and safe!

Car line
Campus opens at 7:40. The car rider line will begin moving at that time. We ask for your
patience if dropping your child off at school in the mornings. We will do our best to unload
students as quickly as possible while maintaining safety guidelines and protocol
expectations.
Car rider drop-off will end at 8:00 & the gate will officially close at 8:05 each day.
Car rider line dismissal will begin at 3:20 in the afternoon.
School Uniforms
CPE follows the VPSB dress code for students.
*** NEW JCAMPUS APP ***
We are excited to announce the new JCampus Student App that is now available for parents and students. This will be a mobile app that will replace the parent portal, will be a one stop shop for communcation and a whole lot more.
To get this process started, we need all to add this free app to your phone. Please join, share and pass the words to your friends so we can get this useful tool in the hands of all of our stakeholders.
