Process: Using our own order of which flower to use first, we arranged the flower stalks in a spiral arrangement, with the occasional taping at the stalks, to create a more aesthetically pleasing appearance of the bouquet. The long leaf is then curved across of the centerpiece. Afterwards, a plastic bag is wrapped at the base of the stems to prepare for the aqua-pack later on. The bouquet is then placed diagonally across the floral wrapping paper so that the wrapping for the bouquet can be carried out. The bottom corner of the wrapping paper is lifted up towards the bouquet and taped to it to secure the flower arrangement. The left half of the paper is folded across the bouquet, followed by the right half of the paper. To smoothen out the folding of the wrapping paper, extra folds of the paper can be made to create a more appeasing and luxurious appearance of the bouquet. Water is added into the plastic bag to create an aqua-pack. Finally, a french ribbon is tied around the bouquet's base to finish the look.
Carnation - deep affection, love
Roses - Enduring passion
Eustoma - Longevity, peace, joy
Purple pompom - Wish for wellness
The clump of purple pompoms help to bulk up the bouquet with the pink carnations adding a pop of vibrancy. Meanwhile, the green Eustoma adds life and freshness to the arrangement. The white static adds the 'water drop' effect and also balances out the colours of the carnation and pompom. Then, the shape of the pointy eucalyptus leaves with the thin stem with the contrasting Golden phoenix (small flowers, thicker stem) adds elegance and detail the the bouquet. Since their leaves and flowers are smaller compared to the rest of the plants, they help bring the attention of the eye to the big flowers of the bouquet. Meanwhile, the curved coconut leaf is a finishing piece of this bouquet that finalises it, curving across the bouquet of flowers, 'uniting and gathering' them in the gold and green wrapping paper. I chose to use the gold side of the wrapping paper as the inside of the bouquet as the gold tones are darker and more neutral, while the green side is brighter and will compete with the bright flowers in the arrangement.
This bouquet holds and represents love, adoration and well wishes. Hence, it is suitable as a Mothers' Day gift or as a gift to anyone you love dearly. usually a close relative.
