Yawatahama 八幡浜 愛宕山公園

On February 11, 1993, the City of Yawatahama installed a 12-note 2nd-generation music siren in Atagoyama Park, perched on a hill overlooking the city. Since then, it has played the above songs at its scheduled times until recently.
1993年2月11日、八幡浜市は、市を見下ろす丘の上にある愛宕山公園に、12音色の第2世代音楽サイレンを設置しました。それ以来、最近まで、予定された時間に上記の曲が流されていました。

In 2017, the music siren underwent a major repair that silenced its repertoire for about 9 months before returning to service in April 2018. Since then, the music siren has continuously been put under repair until 2025, when it fell silent. For over a year, it remained silent until February 2026, when the city announced it would discontinue the music siren and its repairs. However, officials also gave permission to a local electrician to continue maintenance without their support. To this day, the music siren remains in place and is being worked on.
2017年、ミュージックサイレンは大規模な修理が行われ、約9か月間その演奏が途絶えた後、2018年4月に稼働を再開しました。それ以来、ミュージックサイレンは2025年に音を出さなくなるまで、継続的に修理が行われていました。1年以上にわたり沈黙が続いた後、2026年2月、市はミュージックサイレンの運用および修理を中止すると発表しました。しかし、当局は地元の電気技師に対し、市の支援なしにメンテナンスを継続することを許可しました。現在も、ミュージックサイレンはその場所に設置されたままであり、整備が続けられています。
