Housing at a dormitory or equivalent facility is required for all programs.
A variety of sleeping arrangements are acceptable but must include: a bed, a door that locks, access to a bathroom (shared or private), and access to an emergency exit. Some examples of acceptable room configurations include:
Suite with shared living spaces but separate private rooms (gender assigned)
Private room with private bath (preferred for staff)
Private room with shared bath
Private room with community-style bath
Living quarters should be within a short walking distance (10 minutes or less is ideal) of the classroom and dining facilities.
At minimum, the linen packs should include: a fitted sheet, pillow, pillowcase, towel, washcloth, and blanket.
It is not required that a campus provides laundry access for staff and participants. However, it is preferred that access to laundry be provided for staff due to the demanding travel schedule. It would be appreciated if participants had access but not required.
Staff will arrive Thursday and participants arrive Saturday. Due to staff arriving at various times, flexibility around check-in times would be appreciated for their Thursday arrival.
While not required, we welcome you to greet staff or participants upon arrival if your schedule allows. Please note, however, that students arrive at various times on Saturday so please refer to the student roster to gauge the best time to be present if you choose to do so.
Where necessary and available, parking should be provided for staff and participants who drive to campus. Parking should be available overnight (24 hours) and requested to be close to the living quarters. If possible, a parking spot close to the classroom would be ideal for visitors.
