The Storyteller is one of the first children of the Toymaker. First there were games, and then there were stories. They prefer the form of women, but have the capability to shift forms when their own personal narrative calls for it. Not only do they bring stories into the world, but they also devour them. Taking and storing them in their own personal domain. A vast and endless library. Legend goes that the Storyteller will only leave you alone if you offer up a story(memory) of your own to be housed in their ever growing collection.

Millenia ago, someone managed to trap the Storyteller in a seemingly ordinary and harmless book. Which was then tossed into a hidden and forgotten recess of the Library of Alexandria in hopes that no one would find it. For upon finding and opening the book, the Storyteller would be released to the world once more.
