Emmeline is a deaf witch, and a twin. Due to the fact that she is deaf, she didn’t go to Ilvermorny like her brother did. Instead, she went to an all deaf wizarding school hidden away in Nevada. The school itself isn’t as old as Ilvermorny, but was created by deaf witches and wizards after being tired of not having the resources they needed to properly be a part of the wizarding community. It is the only deaf wizarding school in the world, and welcomes deaf students from all over the world.

Due to the importance of learning communication skills at an early age, and the difficulty of learning silent magic, Emmeline actually started school at age six, not eleven. As soon as she started school, she would teach Jordan the things she learned in school. Especially the signs she was learning so that they could better communicate when she was home on holiday.

Even as a child, she was an incredibly positive person, and curious person. She will gladly put someone who thinks she can't do something in their place. Cause just because she is Deaf, doesn't mean she isn't capable of being the best and smartest person in the room. You can usually find her with her brother at her side, and currently works in MACUSA in the Department of International Cooperation.
