This project is focused on bringing SPECIFIC examples of government waste, mismanagement and misrepresentation of data to the attention of the

House Oversight Committee. and House Committee on Agriculture

The two committees have responsbility for reviewing budget requests from the executive branch. For the BLM - these pass through every 5 years in the FARM BILL and annually with spending allocations. Wild Horse Advocates must take a proactive posture about the wasteful programs that are not providing value. Programs like the BLM's Adoption Incentive Program are a waste of resources - besides causing harm to so many animals.

A BLM Mustang with Freezemark 15732083 (HG1AAAAFG) was consigned by the BLM to The Mustang Heritage Foundation on 4 October 2018. Four years later in 2022 the horse was identified at a slaughter kill pen in Colorado (Fabrizus).

The BLM will argue it's responsibility to protect the animal ended when it was sold. Objectively, there is little difference between the government selling wild horses directly for slaughter for using a third party to obfuscate the transaction.
