The topics are tailored to what we want to look at, as he will always ask us what we want to learn about. The first topic that we looked at was the mystery of Jack the Ripper; we managed to look at all of the possible suspects (e.g. Seweryn Klosowski and John Druitt). We also looked at many of the conspiracy theories and had a lot of fun in doing so. Next, we looked at the wide ocean of conspiracy theories involving the Nazi leader Adolf Hitler. As a group, we looked at the range of theories that Hitler may have not suicided with Eva (his wife), and in fact escaped to Argentina. This was the subject that a lot of us had debates on and someone even came up with a theory that Tom and Jerry is based off the World Wars. Finally, we came to our favourite subject, Communism. It is a wide drama involving many exciting topics and definitely intrigued us. It even propelled one of our faithful members to buy some Communist badges!
Overall, the club is very inviting and allows people to embrace their inner passion for History. As a society, we also do not judge someone based on his, her or their gender and sexuality. Personally, I am LGBTQ+ and feel very accepted at this club. If you have the opportunity to visit, please do, as I am sure you will leave with a new view on History.
