Last term I attended Art Club with Mrs McGowan which is on Tuesday's after school until 4pm.

Art club is open to pupils in Year 7 and 8 and it is a good way of meeting new people who also have a love of art like me. Last term we did displays for open evening.

Mrs McGowan asked if we wanted to help out at open evening which was really good being able to show the Year 6's, who will be joining us in September, the work which is done in Art.

I started a doodle piece of work and then encouraged the Year 6 pupils to add to it. It has made me enjoy my Art work more and I will definitely be choosing it as one of my options to take in Year 9. So if you enjoy drawing or art of any kind, come along and learn new skills and make new friends.
