Output and Channel Setup
Using an individual Output of a MAXinBOX 16 Plus - the following settings were made to create a Timer for a period of 1s using Output 13.
Group Object
With the previous settings in place there is a single Group Object which becomes available which will allow for the Actuator Timer to be triggered.
Input Setup
Set the Input to 'Binary Input as shown'. Then within the settings of Input 1 set it to "Switch/Sensor" (even though you'd think it should be a Push Button) and set the Action to send a "1" on a "Rising Edge". This should mean that when the push button closes a "1" is sent. As it will trigger a timer on the MAXinBOX the "Falling Edge" can be set to "No Action". Not shown in the images below are some additional settings in configuration page of Input 1 of the TMD - one was "Evaluate the Input State after Unlock or Reset" which was left as ticked and the other was "Sending Status (0 and 1) on bus voltage recovery" which was left unticked.
Group Object
There are two Group Objects associated with this Input 1. We only need to use one of these as highlighted in the red rectangle.
In this instance I created a Group Addresses and named it "Door Bell". This was used to link together the single MAXinBOX 16 Timer Group Object with the TMD Switch/Sensor Group Object (both shown above).
The end result should be that when the the "Bell Press" door is pressed it causes the TMD to send a 1 to the group address which in turn triggers the timer of the MAXinBOX 16 Plus Output , and 230v is subsequently supplied to the bell transformer and the bell rings. For some reason mine didn't quite work.
