Designed by and for Washington State educators, the tools selected for this guide represent commonly-used apps, services, and software already in use in many schools and classrooms. The guides may include tools not currently adopted or approved in your district. Some tools require purchase, enrollment, or subscription.

Always check with your building leader and/or IT department before using any tool not already adopted and approved by your district. Also ensure that you are aware of any district policies or practices that guide your use of these tools as an educator. Some links and tools in this resource may be unavailable due to district filters or technology policies. When available, independent reviews by Common Sense Education are provided which include student privacy considerations and additional guidance for educators.
