Destiny Discover
Destiny Discover is a widely used K-12 online information and library tool that allows students to scan virtual shelves, place holds and interact with web links. The teacher librarian has the ability to curate web links, apps and more on the Destiny homepage. Educators can curate additional resources in “Collections," another tool.

Technical Specifications:
Destiny is a district level purchase and is unlikely to be purchased by individual buildings. Accessibility and other settings may be set at the discretion of your tech department.
Single Sign On with Google is available. Integration with student management systems like Powerschool and Skyward is recommended. Integration with financial systems like InTouch is also possible so that student fines can be managed by the school bookkeeper. This must be done at the district level by your Destiny Administrator.
Instructional Design
Destiny Discover is an information access tool. Destiny includes print, eBooks, databases, websites and more. If your district subscribes to databases including ProQuest, PebbleGo, Overdrive, etc., they can be embedded within Destiny Discover so your students and staff have ONE place to find information instead of many. Destiny even has a built in MLA citation maker.
