Student Privacy and Security:

Common Sense Education Review of Nearpod

If you are planning to show your presentation on a shared screen or during a zoom meeting, consider having a second device. The teacher display will show student scores and progress. Showing the student view on the shared screen will help protect student privacy. Nearpod allows for anonymous responses as well. When screen sharing student responses, teachers can hide student's names.

Note: If you are using an Apple product you can extend your display, turning one device into two different displays.
