This is me...

Hello everyone, my name is Victoria Greco, I live in York Region. I graduated from Seneca College and obtained my Honours Bachelor's Degree in Child Development. I also completed my Early Childhood Education diploma. Being from Italian descent, family is very important to me. I have two siblings, a full and a half bother. I enjoy socializing and interacting with my friends. I met my best friend in Kindergarten and we have been together ever since. I am aware of the importance of friendships and how they influence a child's development.

TEACHING PHILOSOPHY

My philosophy is the belief that all children should be given the opportunity to enhance and further develop a variety of skills while in a play based environment. Children learn best when they take initiative and become their own teacher. When children are fully engaged in current interest activities, they will have the opportunity to transfer these skills into the real world. This will allow the children to not only have a better understanding of the world around them but also lead them to have positive future interactions.

As an educator, I am fully aware of the responsibility it takes to encourage children to do their best while trying to make learning a positive experience for all. I adore teaching and love using my knowledge of early childhood teaching methods and techniques to help shape our youth.
