Band/Guard/Orchestra Sign Up - Due Jul 15th, 2022 ~~ Link Closed
This is the required process used for ALL the students in the Band/Guard/Orchestra programs, including returning students, incoming freshmen and students transferring to IHS. The suggested donation is $400 which covers the buses, uniforms, competition fees, coaches' salaries, music, facility, food supplies, and so much more. Whether or not you donate, you MUST sign up on Eventbrite before July 15th.
**Please note the Eventbrite Signup does NOT cover or guarantee your IHS course enrollments; you must verify your schedule on the Maze Day to make sure that you are officially enrolled into the band programs requested.
Eventbrite Ticket Options: You must select one of the two ticket options. The tickets are set up to accept credit card payments. If you prefer to pay by check, please read the instructions below carefully.
Option #1: YES! Suggested Donations without Matching. Donations without matching go directly to IHS Band under FUSD's account. If you are paying by credit cards, please choose this option to pay online. If you prefer to pay by check, please choose this option, apply a coupon code "check" and send your $400 check payable to "IHS Band" directly to Mr. Rodda.
Option #2: Donations with Matching, or in a different amount. If your employer offers corporate matching, please donate to "IHS Vikings Music Boosters" to guarantee all matched funds are received by our band program. Please choose this option and add comments at checkout. You may mail a check payable to "IHS Vikings Music Boosters" to our Treasurer, or donate through your employer's online portal for claiming matches. Please visit this page for detailed instructions on different ways of donating for claiming matches. If you prefer to donate a different amount or set up a payment plan, please choose this option, add comments at checkout and contact Mr Rodda to make payment arrangements.

Dates: Aug 1-5, 2022
Times: 8am-4pm
Location: Irvington High School field and classrooms
Prerequisites: Musicians must have at least one year of experience playing a band instrument and be enrolled in a concert band class. No experience necessary for Color Guard
What to Bring: 1 gallon water (bring one on Monday only for coolers), water bottle (for refills), musical instrument, sun protection, lunch, music, pencil, lyre & folio, instrument mask*
What to wear: comfortable clothing, athletic shoes (**marching shoes will only be needed at band reviews)
Daily rehearsals will include Uniform Fittings, Physical Fitness, Marching Fundamentals, Parade Marching, Field Show Marching, Music Rehearsals and Sectionals.
COVID-19 Notes: We will be wearing masks when practicing inside the cafeteria; no masks or instrument covers required outside. If you test positive or do not feel well, please stay home and report absence to Mr Rodda.
