NEW Welcome Ms. Patricia Danielidis

We’re excited to share that a new band director has been hired for IHS Band Program - please welcome Ms. Patricia Danielidis!

Ms. Danielidis is currently finishing up her Master's Degree in Instrumental Conducting at San Jose State University. She did her undergrad at the Concurrent Bachelor of Music/Education program at the Schulich School of Music at McGill University, and also served as the Ensemble Director of the Mount Royal Youth Orchestra Wind Ensemble.

We’re thrilled to have her lead our IHS Band program starting this summer 2026 at band camp and look forward to the experience and energy she’ll bring to our students and band community.

A welcome message from Ms. Danielidis

Hello Irvington High School Vikings Band!

I am incredibly excited to be joining you this year as your Director of Bands. I look forward to building on the incredible foundation already in place, continuing to strengthen our community, and discovering what we can accomplish together in our marching and concert ensembles. It is an honour to be a part of such a well-established and thriving program, and I can't wait to begin this journey with all of you.

A reminder that our annual Band Camp will take place from Monday, July 27th, through Friday, July 31st. We'll wrap up the week with a Friends & Family performance, followed by popsicles and ice cream. I look forward to meeting all of you and kicking off an amazing year together!

If you have not already emailed me regarding a valid reason for missing any portion of Band Camp, please do so as soon as possible. Unexcused absences will result in completing special student service hours for the IHS Band Program, as determined by the Director of Bands.

2026-27 Honor Band Audition Info & Deadlines (Optional)

- CBDA Super Saturday Clinic: Optional. TBD in early September

- NCBA All Northern Honor Band: Auditions due 12/1/2026

NEW 2026-27 Band Program Annual Signup ~ Mandatory for ALL ~ Due 8/15

Band/Guard/Orchestra Annual SignUp: Due on 8/15/2026

This is the mandatory process used for ALL the students in the Band/Guard/Orchestra programs, including returning students, incoming freshmen and students transferring to IHS. The suggested donation is $450 which covers the buses & trucks, uniforms, competition fees, coaches' salaries, music, facility, food supplies, band events, and so much more. You must sign up by August 15th.

**Please note this signup form does NOT replace your course enrollments; you must verify your schedule on the Maze Day on Aeries to make sure that you are officially enrolled into the programs requested.

Please be patient and make sure to follow through all the steps. Thank you very much!

Step 1: Fill Out the Google Form

Fill out detailed information about students & parents.
Sign up for volunteer shifts and mark your calendar. *Each family is expected to volunteer for at least 8 hours, or 2 shifts of 4 hours each.
Specify how you will make the annual donations.
After submitting the Google Form, you will receive an email automatically generated by Google Form from which you will see your responses and may go back to edit if needed.
