Oldies Music & Radio is provided by VibeLab Studio. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the music and radio player, request streamed audio, save a library, or contact us. The player is built with HTML5 and packaged for Android using Andromo. Contact: projects.mma@gmail.com .
Google AdMob is planned for the Android distribution through Andromo. Advertising is not included in the standalone HTML player files. The advertising section below applies when the installed Android build enables AdMob. The final Android build may have additional platform services; any additional data practices must be disclosed before that build is distributed.
You do not need an account to use the player. The inspected player does not operate an account system or an VibeLab Studio cloud library. It does not ask for your name, phone number, contacts, precise location, microphone, camera, or photos.
The player stores favorites, named playlists, recent listening entries and timestamps, queue order, current selection and listening position, playback preferences, theme and text size, sleep timer settings, and whether you have dismissed help messages in local app or browser storage. These records are used to provide and restore your listening experience. They are not uploaded to an VibeLab Studio server by the player.
Current title, artist and playback information may be passed to browser or Android media controls. App error messages shown in About are kept in memory for the current session by the player; no automatic error-reporting endpoint is present in the inspected HTML source.
Audio comes from external radio broadcasters, hosting providers and Internet Archive. When audio is loaded or played, the request is sent to the selected provider and possibly its content-delivery servers. These services receive network information needed to deliver the stream, such as your IP address, the requested audio address, request time and browser or device request information. They may keep access logs or process information under their own policies. Listening is therefore not entirely on-device, even when your favorites and playlists stay local.
We use these connections to deliver the station or recording you choose. We do not claim to control a broadcaster’s logging or retention. Links to Google Play or other external services open services governed by their own terms and privacy practices. The application’s interface cache is local; it is not an offline download library of audio files.
Export creates a JSON backup containing your favorites, playlists and selected preferences. The file is created on your device for you to save or copy. Import reads the file or text you choose, validates it and applies it locally after confirmation. The player does not send the backup to us. If you share a backup or save it in a cloud-synced folder, that transfer or storage is controlled by you and the service you choose.
You can remove favorites and playlists and clear the visible recent-listening history inside the app. To remove all locally stored app data, use the app’s storage controls in Android Settings, or clear the site’s storage in a browser. This resets saved preferences and listening context. Delete exported backup files separately wherever you saved them. Android or device backup/restore behavior depends on the installed app and your system settings; clearing the player does not promise deletion of copies held by another service.
The planned Android ad-supported version uses Google AdMob through the Andromo packaging layer. When enabled, Google’s Mobile Ads SDK may collect and share an IP address, advertising or app-set identifiers and other applicable device/account identifiers, ad and app interactions, and diagnostic or performance information. Google may use these for advertising, measurement/analytics and fraud prevention. IP addresses may be used to estimate a general location. App-set identifiers, where used, are limited to permitted purposes such as analytics and fraud prevention, not ad personalization or ad measurement. Actual processing depends on SDK version, ad settings, consent, region and any mediation services enabled in the Android build.
Personalized advertising may depend on consent or other applicable legal requirements. Non-personalized or limited advertising can still involve data needed to deliver, measure and protect ads. Where consent or privacy-option controls are provided, use those controls to review your choices. Android also provides advertising-ID and advertising-privacy controls, with names that vary by Android version. Changing an ad ID or a consent choice does not necessarily remove all data already retained by an advertising provider.
Google explains its practices in its Privacy Policy (Google Privacy Policy) and advertising information (Google advertising information). This policy does not represent that an AdMob consent flow or a particular mediation partner is present in the standalone HTML files.
Local player information is used to save your choices, restore playback and make the interface work. Stream requests are used to deliver audio. If you email support, we receive the email address and information you send and use it to answer your request and maintain an appropriate support record.
We have not added a separate analytics or tracking service to the inspected HTML player. This does not mean that an Android advertising SDK, the Andromo host, Google Play, a stream provider or an external link processes no information. The planned ad-supported build involves the third-party processing described above. Data may also be disclosed when required by applicable law or to respond to a lawful request. We do not claim that these independent services have the same practices as the local player.
Local library and preference records remain until you change them, clear the app or browser storage, or the device removes them. Storage may be unavailable or temporary on some devices. Exported backups remain wherever you save them until you delete them. Support correspondence is kept for as long as reasonably needed to respond, resolve the matter and meet applicable obligations; no fixed deletion period is promised here. Advertising and streaming providers set their own retention periods and rights processes.
The catalog uses HTTPS audio addresses, and we do not intentionally transmit local library backups to a server. Data on your device relies on the device and app’s storage protections. No network or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Keep your device and installed app up to date and use system security controls.
You can stop streaming with Pause, change local preferences, remove saved items, clear recent history, export your library, or clear local app data. For requests about information VibeLab Studio holds, contact projects.mma@gmail.com . Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict information, object to processing, or withdraw consent. We will explain which information we hold and when a request concerns information stored only on your device or handled by another provider. You can also contact the relevant advertising or streaming service about its records. No account-deletion button is required to close a player account because this player does not offer account creation.
The app is designed around general oldies-music listening rather than a child-directed experience. It is not designed specifically for children under 13, and we do not ask children to submit personal information to the player. Live broadcasts and recordings can contain content outside our control. Parents or guardians who believe a child has provided personal information to VibeLab Studio should contact us. The Android release’s target-audience settings, advertising treatment and content rating must accurately reflect the distributed app.
We may update this policy when features, providers or data practices change. The effective date below identifies this version. Material changes will be reflected in the policy and, where required, in the app or relevant privacy controls.
