Songs and radio are streamed from external servers and the radio providers linked in the app. Audio is not bundled for offline listening. When you play a stream, the provider receives your IP address and technical request information, such as the requested file, time and device/browser information sent with the connection. Providers may use server logs to deliver and protect their services under their own policies. VibeLab Studio does not control their retention periods. AI artist portraits and the app interface are included locally.
The application uses localStorage for favorite track IDs, listening history (up to 100 entries), the last track and playback position, playback preferences, shuffle history, listening selections and personal playlists. It has no account registration, developer-operated cloud sync, JavaScript analytics or HTML tracking pixels. These local listening records are not sent by the application to a VibeLab Studio backend. The Android operating system may back up application data depending on its settings; this is separate from an app cloud account.
You can export a JSON backup containing favorites, history, playlists and the saved listening position. It contains no music files. An imported file is validated on your device and requires confirmation before replacing existing selections. The app does not upload the backup. You control any copies you share or store elsewhere; delete those separately if you no longer want them.
The Android app is intended to display advertising through Google AdMob configured in Andromo. Advertising is supplied by the native Android host rather than by the music catalog. Depending on the installed SDK version, configuration and your choices, Google and any configured advertising partners may process IP addresses (including approximate location derived from IP), advertising or other device identifiers, ad interactions, usage information and diagnostics for ad delivery, measurement, fraud prevention and service operation. Non-personalized or limited ads do not necessarily mean that no data is processed. We do not sell your locally saved playlists or favorites. Advertising partners may have their own data practices.
Consent messages and advertising privacy choices are handled by the Android advertising system where applicable. Their availability and wording depend on your region and the app version. Contact us if you need help finding these controls. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID and review advertising controls in Android settings. Refusing personalized ads does not stop the network requests needed to stream music. This policy does not claim that an HTML button can change native SDK consent.
Music streaming requires internet access. The black screen is an in-app viewing mode; it does not lock your phone. Fullscreen and a screen wake lock may be requested while using that mode if your device supports them. Backup import uses a file you explicitly select; export creates a file you choose to save. The app does not request contacts, microphone, camera, precise location or access to your entire photo library. The Android host and advertising services may use additional device capabilities shown in the installed app’s permission settings.
Local listening information stays until you erase it, clear the app storage or uninstall the app, subject to any device backup and restore behavior. In the app, open Information, then Privacy & local data to replace saved listening data with an empty collection. Export first if you want a copy. This removes local favorites, playlists, history and saved position; it does not delete files you exported or data retained by Google or stream providers. For support emails, we retain the correspondence only as needed to answer and resolve the request, meet legal obligations or handle disputes. Service and advertising providers determine their own retention under their policies.
The app uses HTTPS stream addresses, but third-party endpoints and redirects remain under their providers’ control. No transmission or device storage can be guaranteed perfectly secure. Google, radio providers and other service providers may process information in countries outside your country of residence with the safeguards described in their policies. Advertising providers describe their security practices in their own policies.
Depending on your location and the applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of personal information, object to or restrict certain processing, withdraw consent and complain to a supervisory authority. Contact projects.mma@gmail.com.com for assistance. We cannot identify or retrieve your local playlists from a server; use the in-app export or deletion controls. Requests concerning Google advertising data or a stream provider may need to be made directly to that provider. We will explain the available options.
This music app is designed for a general listening audience and is not directed to children under 13. Music and live radio content may contain mature language or themes. We do not knowingly request personal information from children through the app. If you believe a child has provided personal information in a support message, contact us. Please check the app’s store content rating and supervise young listeners appropriately.
Radio websites and Google services have their own privacy policies. Opening an external link or playing its stream establishes a connection with that service. We may update this policy when the app or its providers change. The effective date above identifies this version. Material changes will be reflected in the published policy and, when appropriate, in the app.
