VibeLab Studio provides Amharic Bible, an Amharic Scripture reading and audio application. Contact: projects.mma@gmail.com.
The application stores your reading place, recent chapters, bookmarks, highlights, personal notes, reading-plan progress, listening positions and preferences in local browser/WebView storage. These features do not require an account or a developer-operated backend. The inspected application does not upload this content to VibeLab Studio or use it to personalize advertising. Notes may contain sensitive personal reflections; avoid entering information you do not want stored on your device.
Local data lets the application resume reading or listening, show your saved passages and remember your preferences. The inspected source has no analytics tracker, account registration or developer server. The Android host and third-party advertising services have separate processing described below; absence of a tracker in the HTML files does not mean the Android application processes no data.
Advertising in the Android edition is configured through Andromo using Google AdMob. Depending on the SDK version, consent choices and configuration, Google and its advertising partners may collect or share IP addresses and approximate location inferred from them, device or advertising identifiers, ad and app interactions, and diagnostic information. These services use information to provide and measure ads, maintain their services and prevent fraud. Personalized ads depend on applicable consent and settings. The HTML5 application itself contains no AdMob SDK. See Google’s Privacy Policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy and information about advertising at https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads.
Audio streams are requested from Internet or Sermon-Online (info2.sermon-online.com). When you play audio, the provider receives your IP address and ordinary connection/request information such as the requested recording and browser or device information. Playback may reveal which religious recording was requested to that provider. Your personal notes and bookmarks are not attached to audio requests. Provider retention and processing are governed by their own policies; see https://www.sermon-online.com. Opening a source or support link also connects you to that external service. Emailing us uses your chosen email provider.
A backup export creates a JSON file containing your notes, saved passages, progress and preferences. A chapter export creates a text file. These files are not sent to VibeLab Studio by the export function. Android or your chosen file/share application may handle the destination. Keep backups somewhere you trust. Restoring a backup replaces local application data after confirmation. The app does not provide automatic cloud synchronization.
VibeLab Studio does not sell your local reading journal. Audio providers and advertising partners receive the information needed for the network services described above. If you contact us, we receive your email address, message and any attachments you choose to send, and use them to handle your request. Please do not send personal journal content unless it is necessary for your support request. We may disclose support information where required by law.
Local information stays until you delete it, clear application storage, uninstall the app or the device/browser removes it. The application’s Privacy and data screen has a device-data deletion control. Clearing local application data does not delete exported backups, files saved elsewhere, emails you sent, or information already processed by third parties. Delete exported files through your file manager. We keep support correspondence only as needed to resolve requests and meet applicable obligations, and review it periodically. Contact us to request deletion of support correspondence; information legally required to be retained may be kept. We cannot directly erase data held independently by Google or an audio provider.
Network audio URLs in this package use HTTPS. Local journal data and exported backups are not encrypted by this application; device security and your handling of backups matter. We do not guarantee absolute security. Do not share your device or exported journal with people you do not trust.
You can read local text without requesting an audio stream, change preferences, export your journal or delete local data. Reading offline does not control network activity by the Android host or advertising SDK when a connection is available. Use the Android edition’s consent/privacy options where provided and Android advertising privacy settings to manage relevant choices. Where applicable law grants access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or consent-withdrawal rights, contact projects.mma@gmail.com. We may need enough information to verify and respond to the request. For data independently controlled by Google or another provider, use that provider’s privacy controls. There is no developer account in the HTML5 app to close.
This application is a general Scripture-reading tool and is not specifically designed for children under 13. We do not knowingly ask children to provide personal information. If you believe a child has sent personal information to us, contact us so we can review and remove it where appropriate. The publisher must configure the Android target audience and any child-directed advertising settings consistently with the actual audience before release.
Google, audio providers and email services may process information in countries other than your own under their respective policies. We may update this policy when functionality, services or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top identifies the current policy. Material changes will be communicated through an appropriate application or listing notice.
