AFRO Music & Radio lets you listen to internet radio, long mixes and music recordings, and keep a personal listening library.
The app player does not require an account. It stores your favorites, playlists, recent listening history, saved moments, playback positions, listening queue, language, volume and playback preferences on your device. Recommendations use the catalog and listening information stored on that device. The app player does not upload this library to a developer-operated server and contains no analytics or advertising SDK.
The player does not request microphone, camera, contacts or precise-location access. Android permissions and services can differ in the packaged edition. The Android system may show information about current playback through its media controls.
Listening requires an internet connection. Selecting a radio station or recording connects your device to an independent broadcaster, audio host or content-delivery provider. These providers receive your IP address and technical request information, such as request time, browser or device information and the audio requested, to deliver the stream. They may maintain server logs under their own policies. A station may include advertisements in its broadcast.
The catalog includes independently hosted radio streams and recordings served by services such as Internet Archive, HearThis, Podomatic, RSS.com and Podbean. The app does not control these providers' retention practices or broadcast content. The HTML package requests audio over HTTPS, although the behavior of redirects and services is controlled by the provider.
The Android edition is intended to support Google AdMob advertising through Andromo. When ads are enabled, Google and any configured advertising partners may process IP addresses, approximate location inferred from an IP address, device or advertising identifiers, interactions with the app or ads, and diagnostic information. This information can be used to deliver and measure ads, prevent fraud and support advertising analytics. The actual information and partners depend on the SDK version, advertising configuration, region and privacy choices.
Advertising choices and any required consent messages are handled by the Android advertising integration. Where a privacy-options control is provided, you can use it to review or change your choices. Device advertising-ID controls may also allow you to reset or delete your advertising ID. Restricting personalized ads does not necessarily stop all technical data processing or all advertising.

Andromo provides the Android packaging and may supply native services configured for the Android build. Those services, advertising SDKs and audio providers have their own data practices. We do not treat the absence of a service from the HTML files as proof that it is absent from the Android app. Any additional native analytics, mediation partners or data uses must be reflected in this policy when enabled.

Local information keeps your library available, remembers your place, restores your listening preferences and supports playback recovery. Network information enables audio delivery. Advertising information supports the purposes described above. If you contact us, we receive your email address and the contents of your message so that we can reply and investigate the issue you report.
Exporting your library creates a JSON backup file using your browser or Android host's file-handling process. You choose where to keep or share it. Import reads the backup file you select. The HTML player does not automatically upload these files. Other apps, storage providers or recipients you choose may process a file under their own policies.
Your local library is not sold or uploaded by the HTML player. Audio requests disclose technical information to the selected provider, and advertising services may collect and share information as described in this policy. We may disclose support correspondence if required by law or to protect rights and security.
Local library information remains in the app or WebView storage until you remove it, clear the relevant app data, or remove the app, subject to your operating system's backup and restore behavior. Exported backups remain in the location you selected until you delete them. Clearing the app does not remove exported files or data already held by third-party services.
Support correspondence is retained while needed to respond to your request, address related issues and meet applicable obligations. Audio hosts, Google, Andromo and other enabled services determine retention for the information they hold under their policies; we do not control their retention periods.
The player uses local storage for its library and HTTPS URLs for audio requests. Local storage and exported files are not an encrypted vault. Device access, operating-system backups and the way you share a backup can affect its security. No method of storage or transmission is guaranteed completely secure.
Third-party providers may process information in countries other than where you live. Their privacy policies explain their international processing and relevant protections.
You can remove individual favorites, playlists and saved moments within the app. To erase the player's complete local library and settings, use Android's app-storage controls to clear this app's data, or the equivalent site-data controls when using a browser. Export a backup first if you wish to keep your library. Delete exported JSON files separately using the storage location where you saved them.
You can stop audio to stop making new playback requests, change your advertising preferences where the Android privacy controls are available, and use your device's advertising-ID controls. You can contact us at projects.mma@gmail.com about access, correction, deletion or other rights that apply to information we hold. Depending on your location, you may also have rights to restrict or object to processing, request a portable copy, withdraw consent or complain to a data-protection authority. For information held directly by a third-party provider, you may also need to contact that provider.
There is no player account to delete. Clearing local app data does not delete third-party logs or advertising information.
AFRO Music & Radio is intended for a general music-listening audience and is not directed to children under 13. Live streams and recordings are supplied by independent providers and may include content unsuitable for children. We do not knowingly request personal information from children through the HTML player. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so that we can review and address the matter. The Android release's target-audience and advertising settings must remain consistent with its actual audience.
We may update this policy when the app, its services or privacy requirements change. The effective date above identifies the latest revision. Material changes will be communicated through an appropriate app or store notice where required.
