In the section on character classes, the five base classes are detailed along with their respective sub-classes. Just as some base classes will have a “sub-class” or a class subordinate to the base, this section details several “supplementary” classes which add-on to the base class once a set of prerequisites are achieved. Additionally, certain non-player classes are detailed here for use with monsters or NPCs.
It is important to note that nothing, not even wish-level magic will help overcome the prerequisites required unless used to enhance an ability score or the like.
