j2e animate

Learners can make use of the j2e animate tool in the JIT5 app, this will allow them to create their own animations to explain what they understand about something. This could be the life-cycle of something, it could be the growing of a plant with the labelling of the different features. Learners will also be able to add audio to their animation detailing the stages of development. This app can be used to support learners' understanding of stop-motion animation.

Microsoft Flip

Flip, formally known as Flipgrid, is a video recording tool. It allows pupils to record responses to questions/discussion points. Learners are also also able provide reactions to their peers work, providing feedback and comments in either a video or text based format.

Video Options

Learners are able to Add images, frames, filters and text to their videos.

They can crop the beginning and end of their videos, and add music to support their video's message.

Also, they can screen-record, allowing them to provide feedback on what they have created digitally.

This is a great way for pupils to explain what they have created and the reasons for their design choices.

These videos can then be saved directly to learners Google Drives, allowing the creations to be added to their Digital Portfolios.

Adobe Express

Adobe Express, formally Adobe Spark, allows learners to create video content by adding slides together and then adding audio to convey understanding.

Learners are able to add music to enhance their final video, they are able to crop any videos they add to make use of specific sections they wish to keep.

Once complete, learners need to publish their creations, and copy the link. This can then be embedded into their Digital Portfolios.
