Global Ministry

Commitment of Life is the world development programme of the United Reformed Church. We take action for, pray for and give to people across the world but especially in our four partner countries/region of Bangladesh, Central America (Honduras, Guatemala. Nicaragua and El Salvador), Israel and the occupied Palestinian territory and Zimbabwe.

We believe every family with a seriously ill child in hospital should be able to stay together, just minutes from their child’s bed during their treatment. We provide free, high-quality ‘Home from Home’ accommodation, as well as emotional and practical support, to families with sick children in hospital in the UK.

The Leprosy Mission is an international Christian charity with 141 years of experience, serving a population of 305 million people in around 30 leprosy-affected countries.

Our work is broad and far-reaching. The combination of a disease which has a severely debilitating effect on the body and the stigma surrounding it means a unique and holistic approach is required to care for a person’s needs. We tend to the physical, social, spiritual and psychological needs of a leprosy-affected person.

Christian Aid is an organisation that insists the world can and must be swiftly changed so that everyone can live a full life, free from poverty.

We work globally for profound change that eradicates the causes of poverty, striving to achieve equality, dignity and freedom for all, regardless of faith or nationality. We provide urgent, practical and effective assistance where need is great, tackling the effects of poverty as well as its root causes.

Maternity Worldwide is a charity which works in low-income countries to help women and girls access the high quality maternal health care they need to be able to give birth safely.

Five years of brutal war in Syria has devastated children's lives.

More than 2.3 million children have had to flee the country. A quarter of a million are still trapped inside, living under siege.

In parts of Syria, children are dying because they can't get the medical care they need, and families have had to eat leaves and animal feed because they can't find enough food.

A small shoebox can have a big impact. What goes into the box is fun, but what comes out of it is eternal. Be a part of changing children’s lives all over the world in Jesus’ name through the power of a simple gift with Operation Christmas Child.
