Whitstable United Reformed Church

New to Whitstable URC? We are delighted to welcome YOU!

Whoever you are and wherever you find yourself on your spiritual journey you are welcome here.

We look forward to seeing you soon!

Called to live in community, we serve many and various "one anothers" in our church and in our town. Our church is home to many activities, and we are blessed to welcome neighbours, friends and visitors through our doors.

We are a friendly, community-based church which relates the Christian faith to the world today. We seek to be people who follow Jesus’ loving example and commitment to justice and compassion.

Children's Prayer for October

Children and dogs scuffle and snuffle through fallen leaves, loving the sound of the swish, swish as they move. Playing with conkers, enjoying the Autumn sun with their friends. May these moments remain forever in their minds. God brings us to places of safety and trust. Thank you God, for all the children's fun that you provide!

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

~ Jeremiah 29:11

Join us for tea, coffee and cake as we invite the Holy Spirit to guide us in our informal exploration of the plans that God has for us as individuals and as a church. This will be an opportunity for us to share and discuss our ideas about the way we serve God, our community and world as a church.
