THINK PAVILION: A STUDENT CATALYST

In the architectural space created as a pavilion for thinking, it is an emotional place built to experience the nature of the environment, that changes momentarily. Architecture students are a very sensitive group of design decision-makers. But is it the same nowadays? It's a question. An architectural intervention aims to create a design that induces a change in the thinking pattern through the sense of space. In the intermediary space amidst Architecture, TCP, and building Economic buildings, the selected context is located in the University of Moratuwa. This design is focused on architecture students, creating a space for them to use in their day-to-day work in a different way. Through this, the space will generate a Multidisciplinary approach for different disciplinary people unknowingly. Among three solid buildings, this building generates a dynamic pattern of nature throughout the internal spaces, allowing students to experience it with all five senses. A space is created to pay attention to the everyday environment and its changes. Accordingly, the students' attention and the shadows and sounds of the changing environment are grasped in a different way. Through this, it serves as a catalyst to observe their thinking systematically from different angles without realizing it.
