ROOF TILE FACTORY FOR DANKOTUWA

The project focuses on sustainable construction practices, advocating for the use of locally sourced materials to foster environmental responsibility and community cooperation. It aims to create a market niche for such products globally while providing employment opportunities in the village.

The design ensures resilience against climatic variations, particularly in the Dankotuwa region, where a roof tile factory is situated. Special attention is given to maintaining production efficiency and stability, utilizing steel structures, and Bernoulli's principle to optimize drying processes. The factory merges traditional methods with innovative approaches, offering a safe and conducive working environment that includes facilities for employees and their families.

Technically, the design features large steel 3D trusses and roof tiles with a tubular shape inspired by Bernoulli's principle for efficient airflow and aesthetic appeal. Additionally, the integration of safety measures and environmental considerations enhances the overall functionality and sustainability of the project.
