POD FOR KIMBULAWELLA WETLAND PARK
Inspired by the intricate beauty of a spider web, the design takes shape on a small island nestled in the middle of the serene Kimbulawela Lake, creating a tranquil oasis for peace of mind. Crafted from lightweight materials like GI pipes, wooden sheets, fabric tents, and nets, the structure forms a graceful, tensile silhouette. Spanning four floor levels, it serves as a space for cooking, bathing, working, and resting.
Utilizing natural daylight and ventilation, the interior offers sweeping vistas of the surrounding landscape, fostering a calming ambiance. Each detail contributes to a harmonious blend of functionality and aesthetics, inviting moments of reflection and rejuvenation. Within this sanctuary, users can fully immerse themselves in the tranquility of nature, finding solace amidst the gentle embrace of the environment.
