The term "tidal wave" in architecture typically refers to a design concept or approach where a building's form or elements evoke the dynamic and flowing nature of ocean waves. MATERIAL AND SUSTAINABILITY
For the stall we have used repurposed plastic bottles which were going to end up filling the landfills creating many health, environmental as well as economical issues.
Incorporating recycled plastic bottles into this project helped us to get communities engaged in environmental awareness and recycling initiatives while it fosters a sense of ownership and pride in sustainable practices, promoting a culture of environmental stewardship. Their lightweight nature and flexibility allowed us to come up with innovative design solutions and creative expressions. In the current economy Cost-Effectiveness was one of the key factors we had to consider. Using recycled plastic bottles as building materials was a great solution for us while showing that this can be used as construction materials, offering an affordable and sustainable alternative.
We believe our stall helped to demonstrate how innovative design approaches can contribute to addressing global challenges such as plastic waste while creating functional and aesthetically appealing built environments.
