The University of Oregon is easily accessible by car, train, or airplane. Please note that all meals are provided during the duration of the conference (dinner on Friday, January 12th through lunch on Sunday, January 14). Note that if you are requesting travel reimbursement, you must send the organizers your travel plans for approval (email: uo.cuwip2018@gmail.com) before booking!

Eugene is serviced by Amtrak, Greyhound, and Bolt Bus. Attendees especially from Portland or Corvallis may be interested in this travel option. All of these options fall within a $20-40 price range for travel to/from Portland, and Amtrak additionally offers a student discount. You should plan on arriving in Eugene before 5 pm on Friday, January 12 and departing Eugene at 4 pm or later on Sunday, January 14. Train and bus stations are roughly a 10 minute drive from campus.

There is no Uber or Lyft service in Eugene, so we recommend utilizing Oregon Taxi for transportation to and from the bus/train stations.
