Accommodations

Lodging for attendees (both students and invited speakers) is within half a mile of the Erb Memorial Union. There is free parking within these hotel lots for hotel guests.

Attendees will be staying in the Best Western New Oregon, Best Western Greentree Inn, Days Inn Eugene Downtown/University, or Phoenix Inn Suites (all shown on the map on the "Location" section of the Travel tab). Rooms are provided for attendees for the nights of January 12th and 13th only. If special circumstances arise and there has been communication with the organizers, a room may be provided for January 14.

All rooms have two beds and will be shared between two attendees. Roommates will be randomly assigned. Continental breakfasts are provided by the hotels, however we will also provide breakfast for all attendees each morning. Requests regarding housing can be made on the CUWiP application.

If you arrive before check in, bags can be stored at your hotel. Please ensure that you check out of your room on Sunday morning before coming to the first scheduled conference event. Bags then may be stored in Willamette Hall Room 147 where a LOC member will be stationed all day.

Due to the close proximity, attendees will be expected to walk from their lodging location to conference locations. Keep in mind that the winter in Eugene may be cool and rainy, so come prepared with warm clothes and rain gear! If you have accessibility concerns, contact the organizers at uo.cuwip2018@gmail.com to arrange transportation.
