It is well-known that Lewis Carroll, the famous author of Alice in Wonderland, was a mathematician and logician.

His contributions to logic include a mature system of diagrams, a subscript notation for categorical propositions, a pioneering method of logic trees, a fabulous set of logical exercises and two paradoxes that have been widely discussed by his successors.
