A functioning Government should allow for: proper economic competition; proper economic conditions to protect its economy and its people; proper consumer protections; proper systems of social and medical welfare; common defence; the protections of the rights of its citizens; proper education of its citizens; the promotion of the sciences and innovation; and protections of its natural landscape and resources, whilst still allowing for the sustainable exploitation of such resources.
All such operations should take place whilst maintaining a balanced budget, or a budget surplus. As to provide an established fund for emergencies, so the government may afford a deficit without the risk of debt. As such debt and the interest on such debt, further mitigates the ability of the government to provide the services it should.

In the face of the many the few have no power, unless the many believe they do, that is why an emperor of China could lose the mandate of heaven, or the British could be forced to "Quit India". It is ones duty to voice there opinions, there opposition to policies which they find unconscionable. To not do this, to not face your opponent, no matter how strong they may seem, allows for the tyrany of the few over the many, the seemingly powerful over the seemingly weak. The united few conquering the divided many.
It can be seen in certain senarios such as the United States Congress, where on many issues, congress people may seem divided, but many a time that is untrue, for there is no easier way to manipulate the masses than to make the believe that you the one in power has their best interests at heart, when in fact, you are acting for your own gain. NO elected body can truly represent the opinions of the masses, only the masses can represent themselves, or a randomized portion of the masses, a portion not seeking political power, and only aquiring it for a short period.

On the necessity of limiting access to smart devices, addictive services, and other social and brain drains. It can be seen that in places that should foster one's ability to socialize, especially those that seem to lack it innately, all opportunities should be taken for such socialization to occur. As such the use of devices and services that allow one to be socially isolated in an area instead of the natural social interaction that should occur in such locations is a fundamentally wrong. As such the banishment of devices from such areas as schools, where social development should be a paramount priority, is only a positive endeavour. The Less such devices are used -unless a class focuses on the use of such devices such as computer sci, etc. - the better, for one can both interact with the environment and people around them, and learn class material more effectively

In so far as it can be seen, the use of the internet to place pressures on corporations and governments is in many cases less effective than a great many strongly worded letters arguing many different points, resulting in the same conclusion. Paper mail, though easily ignored, is not as easily ignored as email, which can be ignored without any human ever glancing at its contents. Nor can the view of a large number of notifications ever make up for the impact of bags full of mail. As such I believe it is right and proper for complaints to be sent on paper, by post, to show ones complete and utter disagreement or appreciation of or for an action of a powerful body, or of powerful people.
The only time when online or digital activism can work, is when there seems to be, in the opposition's eyes, universal support against them.
This is the same thing that occurs with physical opposition, but it doesn't require as grand a quantity of support, as it is in itself a spectacle, each letter influencing more than 1000's dwelling in the unseen corners of the internet.

The current state of man -or any historical or future state- is not separate from the state of man in nature, as it is our nature to transform the land around us to better fit our needs. This can be seen historically through the incremental developments of man, whether it be the transformation of land for agriculture, or the transformation of land for rail, it is our nature to transform the area around us. As such to postulate on the actions of man in a state of nature is folly, as man is always in a state of nature, always experiencing man in a state of nature.
The real question is what duties man has to its environment, after all no matter how much humanity alters its environment, it is still slave to it. Whether that be the fantastical environment exempt from human intervention, or one altered by it. I do believe that we are duty-bound - for our own survival, as well as the survival of the other creatures of the world which our collective actions have harmed - to develop in a way which does the least possible harm to the health of people and the larger world. For one shouldn't burn the solidified corpses of long dead plants and animals if it is shown to cause cancer, and other such vile illnesses, nor should we create an environment dangerous to the animals -including people- in it, such as we have done with automobile dependent patterns of development.
A creed of nature should be established, to do the least possible harm, for harm to the environment around us results in the harm to our collective selves.
Throughout history, many forms of government have existed though few have been more stable than monarchy, and none gives more voice to the people than a direct democracy.
Therefore I do postulate that, a system of government in which random people are selected to form a body of the representative herein referred to as the People’s Congress, a house of advisors chosen because of their brilliance herein referred to as the House of Lords, and a Monarch would be the most representative, adaptive, and stable form of government that we can currently conceive.
The People’s Congress shall be formed of representatives randomly chosen from all over the nation, it shall be the main legislative body of the government. Since it is a body of the random it shall have certain limitations, they shall not be able to create a budget that spends more than eighty percent of the national treasury (the final twenty percent is an emergency fund), they shall not be able to adjust their compensation to a greater than a certain percentage of the total budget and the budget shall take effect on the turn of the congress, and they shall receive no benefits for when they are no longer a congressman, other than those provided to all by the government.
The House of Lords shall be a purely advisory body for both the People’s Congress, the Cabinet of the Monarch, herein referred to as the Cabinet, and the Monarch. It may propose amendments to legislation before it is passed to the legislative bodies.
The Monarchy shall hold executive powers and in times of crisis be given for a limited period of time legislative powers, to prevent a totalitarian absolute monarchy from forming the powers of the Monarch shall be limited. The Monarch shall never be able to dissolve the People’s Congress or its legislative power nor change the amount of time they hold legislative powers or change the amount they are compensated.
Some may argue that the common populace is too dullard, to perform a task as important as forming and carrying out the duties of a legislative body. I protest this argument because if you look at the current United States congress most people in it are corrupt and/or incompetent and put their personal gain above that of the nation. If random people are selected and serve for a short term, and receive no benefits other than the payment they receive for their service, then they shall enact bills that they truly believe are the best for the nation and their community. Also Public education shall educate the populace preventing widespread stupidity from grasping hold of the congress.
Others may argue that such a system would put a dull-witted monarch, detached from the common populace in a position of extraordinary power, and I do concede that they are correct in some instances, which is why the People’s congress shall retain the right to force the Monarch to abdicate with a two - thirds majority vote, if they so believe the Monarch is incompetent and/or corrupt.
This form of government is further formally laid out in the Constitution of the Kingdom of Unihornitopia (March 2022) and the charters it cites that deal with the general procedure and rules of the House of Lords (2023) and the People’s Congress (2023), which implements it.
In order to successfully operate a government under the Unihornitopian system, the congress must have a truly random membership.
The selection will be supervised by the current People’s Congress and the Executive, ensuring that all current members are excluded from the next selection. Using national census data, a comprehensive list of eligible citizens, identified by national ID numbers, will be organized by regions and demographics. Each region will create a pool of eligible candidates, and a public lottery event will be held where ID numbers are drawn at random. Selected individuals' IDs will be verified, and the results will be publicly announced and documented. Additionally, selected individuals will be notified via the royal mail service.
Health and Fitness
The terminally ill and senile shall not be permitted to become members. All selected members must undergo a comprehensive medical and psychological evaluation to ensure they are of sound mind and health before assuming their roles. Members shall be subject to periodic health assessments during their term to ensure ongoing mental and physical fitness for their duties. Any concerns regarding the mental fitness of a member can be brought before a special committee composed of medical and psychological experts for review. If found unfit, the member shall be respectfully replaced.
Incapacity
If a member dies or is otherwise incapacitated for a time predicted to be greater than the remaining duration of their term, a new member shall be selected to replace them. If a member is temporarily incapacitated but expected to recover within the remaining duration of their term, their duties shall be temporarily reassigned within the People's Congress until they can resume their role. Members must disclose any medical conditions prior to selection, and this information shall be confidentially reviewed by a designated medical board to avoid any potential conflicts of interest.
To ensure an effective legislative body, members will undergo a week-long educational program prior to attending the People's Congress. During this period, they will participate in daily mock sessions where practice bills are submitted, and each member is assigned a stance on the bill, following proper procedures. Additionally, members will practice writing and discussing bills by drafting their own practice bills, presenting them in mock sessions, engaging in discussions, debates, and deliberations, and receiving feedback. This preparation will help them formulate their own stances and create their own bills once they become members of congress.
