The consecutive event, comprising a Validation Meeting and the Third Technical Workshop, aims to validate the ICT–AI Competency Standards for Teachers (ICT–AI CST) and finalize the aligned Continuing Professional Development (CPD) modules, ensuring they are ready to support the national implementation of the ICT–AI CST.
Specific Objectives:
1. Validate the Finalized Lao ICT–AI Competency Standards for Teachers
• Present the finalized ICT–AI CST to gather stakeholder feedback and ensure coherence, clarity, and alignment across domains, progression levels, and performance indicators.
• Confirm that the standards are ready for official approval, dissemination, and national implementation.
2. Review, Revise, and Finalize the Five Draft CPD Course Modules
• Refine the structure, content, learning objectives, and pedagogical approaches of each CPD module to ensure coherence across all sections and alignment with the validated ICT–AI CST.
• Enhance the quality and feasibility of teaching and learning activities, assessment strategies, and facilitator guidance.
3. Plan the Next Steps for Final Editing, Piloting, and Implementation
• Define follow-up actions, responsibilities, and timelines for final editing by the end of 2025, as well as for piloting and nationwide rollout of the CPD modules in 2026.
