Capacity Development Training Course on Blended Learning for Teacher Educators in Teacher Education Institutions in Lao PDR

Training Objectives
To enhance knowledge, skills, and competencies in digital technology for teaching and learning as well as blended learning modalities for teacher educators from teacher education institutions in Lao PDR; and
To build capacities of target teacher educators to provide technical support and disseminate the knowledge, skills and competencies gained on digital technology for teaching and learning as well as blended learning modalities to their peers and student teachers.
Expected Outcomes
Teacher educators are able to enhance their knowledge, skills, and competencies in digital technology for teaching and learning as well as blended learning modalities; and
Teacher educators have developed capacities in providing technical support and disseminating the knowledge, skills and competencies gained on digital technology for teaching and learning as well as blended learning modalities to their peers and student teachers.
Participants
Eighty (80) teacher educators who teach the Lao language, mathematics, or science subjects from 14 teacher education institutions in Lao PDR (4 universities' Faculty of Education, 8 Teacher Training Colleges, 2 Sangha Colleges)
Ten (10) relevant officials from Ministry of Education and Sports, particularly, the Department of Teacher Education, the Lao National Commission for UNESCO, etc.
